Chuck was the host of Bus #4 on an all-day bus trip to Burial Chamber and Blood City Haunted Houses, and then up to Terror on the Fox Haunted Attraction, where guests were treated to exclusive lights-off and lights-on tours showing behind the scenes operations. The incredible trip included a light lunch, catered dinner, social gathering, guest speakers, door prizes, an auction and a raffle!

Chuck joined fellow compadres Rich Hanf, Tim Gavinski, Eddie McLaurin, Bill Criscione and Deanna Roberts-Morton during a fun-filled raffle prize giveaway and auction which kept everyone laughing while helping raise money for IAHA.

Chuck‘s recent movie, Killer Pad, the latest horror thriller directed by icon Robert Freddy Krueger Englund was the subject of a special panel Q & A. A never-before seen trailer developed exclusively for showing during this discussion at Haunt X was screened with Q & A immediately following. Present on the panel were from the cast of stars; Daniel Franzese, Eric Jungmann, Shane McRae, Emily Foxler, Corri English, the amazing, beautiful Lin Shaye, and producer Avi Chesed.

A weekend for haunt producers, actors, and home haunters, this show was packed full with a vendor trade show, product demonstrations, educational seminars, workshops and many fun social activities. Saturday proved to be an exciting day for Chuck. In the afternoon, Chuck was joined by Crazy Bob Turner to emcee the Bloody Mary® Monster Makeup Wars™. This timed event challenged 5 teams to see who could most creatively use the makeup provided.

Saturday evening’s event was the LawnScare Masquerade Party! Together again, Chuck and Crazy Bob hosted the Ms. Midwest Scary Pageant and crowned this year’ winner, the Skinless Woman. As the evening went on, Chuck rallied the crowd to cheer for winners of three costume contests. There were competitions for Scariest Male, Scariest Couple, and the crowd favorite, Sexiest Female!

Sunday, Chuck presented a high-energy seminar on Motivating Actors. His enthusiasm could be heard all the way down the hall and got high praise from attendees.

As the ScreamSyndicate-sponsored Keynote Speaker, Chuck shared the ins and outs of how haunt actors, the STARS of a haunted attraction show, can give the best and scariest performances. He taught many professional skills and Hollywood-style techniques to a standing-room only crowd. Saturday evening, he attended the Costume Ball and on Sunday had an opportunity to visit the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park. The Stanley Hotel was the inspiration for Stephen King's "The Shining" and was the location for the Overlook Hotel in King's television mini-series version of the story.

Straight Into Darkness played on the big screen at the Aero Theater in Santa Monica. Newly restored by American Cinematheque (owners and operators of Grauman's Hollywood Egyptian Theatre), the 400-seat theater is one of the few remaining single-screen neighborhood theaters in the Los Angeles area.

Chuck attended the Crazy Bob Social on Wednesday night. He moderated a panel discussion seminar on Thursday. Friday he introduced Elvira to the Fantasy Fashion Show attendees and then emceed the IAHA Annual Meeting and Auction. Saturday he emceed the day-time Lingerie show which attracted a standing-room only crowd and attended TransWorld's First Annual Halloween Party Extravaganza that evening.
